In this episode, Tony and I discuss an emerging topic regarding high amounts of protein. We share research around eating too much protein. We also talk about how even many Paleo experts are moving more in the direction of ketogenic diets, which prohibit too much protein—as excess protein is inflammatory and gets converted into sugar. Be sure to check out the studies and research in the show notes!

About Josh Rosebrook
Josh opened his first salon in Portland, Oregon, when he was 10 years old. He found an antique barber’s chair in the basement and soon was styling and fixing the hair of all the kids in the neighborhood. Even at that age, he couldn’t understand why everyone had a hard time with their hair. It came naturally to Josh; he instinctively knew how to cut and style their hair to give them the look they wanted.
Josh’s interest in skin care came a few years later and by the time he was a teenager he was comparing results and reading labels. Josh began using different products and researching the ingredients and the effects on my skin. He began to make the connection between diet, physical appearance and overall health.
By his 20’s Josh had moved to Los Angeles and was working in high end hair salons. His career flourished, and he began looking for products containing specific, natural ingredients and couldn’t find them anywhere on the market. Driven by desire for what he wanted and a fascination with natural ingredients, Josh expanded his background in hair and scalp to the biochemistry of the skin. He began creating my own skin care and the results were astounding.
Eventually Josh Rosebrook Skin and Hair Care was born, and it’s only gathered momentum from there. Today he works with a team that includes an industry-leading phytochemist and an herbalist. Together they conceive, test and perfect his formulas, and only when it meets his uncompromising standards of perfection, does he share these creations with the world.
About Tony Flores, a long-time friend of Kimberly who, after graduating from Stanford University, began researching and writing professionally full-time. He has a passion for natural health, especially Beauty Detox, and loves to share exciting new studies and insights he learns with Kimberly and the community!

Detoxy+ is a nutritional supplement that helps cleanse your digestive and elimination organs of wastes and toxins in a gentle, yet effective way—without any of the drawbacks of typical laxatives or fiber supplements.
Detoxy+ is created by adding an oxygen molecule to magnesium—through the non-toxic process called ozonation—forming a compound called magnesium oxide. When you take the capsule, it dissolves and releases monatomic, or nascent, oxygen over a six to twelve hour period or more, throughout the entire digestive system.
The magnesium acts as a transporter of the oxygen throughout the entire body and has the gentle effect of loosening toxins and acidic waste in your colon, helping transport them out of the body via elimination. Oxygen, delivered in this way, supports the growth of friendly bacteria, which is essential for proper digestive and intestinal health.
Detoxy+ is safe for regular use and is non habit-forming. It can be helpful for anyone looking to increase their elimination and regularity, increase detoxification, reduce bloating or gas, and just feel lighter and healthier overall.
