In this episode, Tony and I are going to talk about a practice that we should all try to develope, especially around the holidays, and that is- gratitude. With the increase in stress around the holidays, one of the best ways to counter it and feel good is by developing a gratitude practice. In this segment, Tony and I review the research around gratitude—and go over some easy, doable tips for bringing beautiful gratitude into your life each day!
Next, we have my very special guest Christy Coleman, who is a fashion and celebrity makeup artist and head of Creative Design for Beauty Counter. Christy shares everything from makeup application tips, behind the scenes insight that tells the story of how we came to choose super ingredients for our super products, to interviews with some of my favorite people. We look forward to sharing her story with all of you Beauties, and tips on how to make wiser choices when it comes to what we put on our skin.
About Christy Coleman
After Christy’s father was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease, he said something that stuck with her. He said: “Kid, there’s a lot to be said about how you live your life – when I grow up I want to be you.” Shortly after he passed, then her mother fell ill.
Christy was living in New York, working as a fashion and celebrity makeup artist, when she decided to do something with her life that would make a real and calculated difference.
By happenstance, she had an epiphany: Christy was a makeup artist using formulas linked to the very same types of diseases that affected her so deeply and was shocked to find that ingredients like formaldehyde had been linked to Lou Gehrig’s, and were prevalent in the cosmetics she used on herself and her clients everyday.
Once Christy started to buy her makeup from more ingredient-restrictive countries, this was the beginning of a year-long process, mixing and matching non-toxic products for her soon-to-be cleaned up makeup kit. The heart of why she shows up to work everyday is to affect change – and is proud to be part of a team of people and Consultants who feel the same way.

Detoxy+ is a nutritional supplement that helps cleanse your digestive and elimination organs of wastes and toxins in a gentle, yet effective way—without any of the drawbacks of typical laxatives or fiber supplements.
Detoxy+ is created by adding an oxygen molecule to magnesium—through the non-toxic process called ozonation—forming a compound called magnesium oxide. When you take the capsule, it dissolves and releases monatomic, or nascent, oxygen over a six to twelve hour period or more, throughout the entire digestive system.
The magnesium acts as a transporter of the oxygen throughout the entire body and has the gentle effect of loosening toxins and acidic waste in your colon, helping transport them out of the body via elimination. Oxygen, delivered in this way, supports the growth of friendly bacteria, which is essential for proper digestive and intestinal health.
Detoxy+ is safe for regular use and is non habit-forming. It can be helpful for anyone looking to increase their elimination and regularity, increase detoxification, reduce bloating or gas, and just feel lighter and healthier overall.
